The Florida League of Cities, the united voice for Florida’s municipal governments, announced that Largo’s Vice Mayor Jamie Robinson was recently appointed to serve on the League’s 2020-2021 Advocacy Committee. Members of this committee are appointed annually by the League’s president. Florida League of Cities President Tony Ortiz, commissioner for the City of Orlando, made the appointments for this term.

Largo's Sold on Largo Program is accepting applications to help first-time homebuyers purchase their first home in Largo.  The City's is also accepting applications for its Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program to help income-eligible homeowners make safety and energy efficiency improvements to their home.

The City of Largo GIS Team is looking for community input regarding available online information. Largo residents and businesses are invited to share feedback to help City staff better understand what types of online applications and mapping services best serve the public. Once feedback is received and reviewed, the GIS Team will continue to publish additional public applications to decrease the information gap between city staff and the public.

The Downtown Plaza project is located on the southwest corner of the West Bay Drive and Seminole Boulevard. This public space is a passive park at the eastern gateway to Downtown Largo and features vertical landscaped monuments welcoming both drivers and pedestrians.
