Starting Monday, July 22, the City of Largo will begin significant drainage improvements along 3rd Avenue SW. This project entails replacing the storm sewer beneath the sidewalk on the north side of 3rd Avenue SW, starting near the mid-block and extending eastward to 2nd Street SW.

The City is planning for Fiscal Year 2025, which begins on October 1. The budget is guided by the City’s strategic focus areas of Sustainability, Public Health, and Community Pride.

Largo City Commission, City Leadership, and the Horizon Project Team joined the project architect, ASD│SKY and Biltmore Construction in Downtown Largo for an official groundbreaking ceremony of Horizon West Bay in Fall 2022. Mayor Woody Brown and City Manager Henry Schubert welcomed guests and talked about Horizon as a true investment in a Downtown vision.
