Veterans Resources

Are you a veteran as well as a Largo resident? The City of Largo would like to honor your services with City services available to our veteran community. From events, job openings, community services and more, find ways to connect.

Flag Donation
If you have a United States flag that is tattered, torn or faded, it is no longer a fitting emblem of display or useable. This flag should be retired in a dignified way, preferably by burning. The City of Largo recognizes the need for citizens to have a simple solution to retire U.S. flags. Thanks to a partnership with Veterans Funeral Care, a retirement box is available at Largo City Hall for the collection of unserviceable U.S. flags. The City of Largo Veterans Committee will transport the flags to Veterans Funeral Care to properly retire flags. You may drop off your flags to Largo City Hall between 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. For questions, please call 727-587-6740 Ext. 5014.
