An impartial panel judged the report to meet the program’s high standards, which includes demonstrating a constructive "spirit of full disclosure" to communicate its financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the report.
"Providing useful, accurate, and transparent information about the City’s financial activities to residents and other stakeholders is important to us," said the City of Largo’s Finance Director, Rebecca Spuhler. "Our financial and budget reports are imperative to us doing that. The receipt of this award for the 32nd consecutive year is a direct reflection of the knowledge and dedication of the Finance team."
