City of Largo to Roll Out Life-Saving Decal Program

A yellow sticker on your rear windshield could potentially save your life in an emergency.

The City of Largo will soon roll out the Yellow Dot program in coming months. This decal will let Largo Police Department, Largo Fire Rescue and other first responders know there's vital personal and medical information in your glove compartment. Drivers who get the yellow dot sticker will also receive a form that lets emergency workers know who you are and if you have any medical conditions, allergies, or medications.

For the last year, Hillsborough County fire rescue have used the yellow sticker and have noted the effectiveness during a rescue or emergency. The City of Largo will be the first in Pinellas County to implement the program.
