Neighborhood Information Meeting: Lift Station 26 Relocation

The City of Largo will host two neighborhood information meetings to discuss the relocation of Lift Station 26, an essential component of the City's sanitary sewer system. Lift Station 26, currently located at the corner of Lancaster Dr. and Doncaster Rd., is being relocated nearby to a safer area outside of flood zones to enhance system resilience and reliability.

The improvements also include installing an emergency generator and solar panels to provide backup power to allow continuous operation of this critical infrastructure, in all weather conditions. Construction is anticipated to begin this year and there may be periodic disruption to traffic along Lancaster Drive and the surrounding areas. Regular updates will be shared during the construction phase. The city does not expect any disruption in sewer service during these updates.

Residents are encouraged to attend this informational session virtually or in-person to learn about the planned relocation and ask questions.
