Lift Station Improvements

The City of Largo is relocating Lift Stations 19 and 26, essential components of the City's sanitary sewer system. Lift Stations are being relocated nearby to safer areas outside of flood zones to enhance system resilience and reliability.

The improvements also include installing an emergency generator and solar panels to provide backup power to allow continuous operation of this critical infrastructure, in all weather conditions. Construction is anticipated to begin this year and there may be periodic disruption to traffic along Lancaster Drive and Harborwood Drive during the relocation of Lift Stations 26 and 19, respectively.  Regular updates will be shared during the construction phase. The city does not expect any disruption in sewer service during these updates.

Residents are encouraged to reach out to the Engineering Services Department, Senior Project Manager, David Drash at [email protected] or (727) 587-6713 Ext. 4414.

This project is part of Largo's ongoing efforts to ensure continuous service delivery, particularly during adverse weather conditions. For more information about City projects, visit Largo.com/Projects.
