The City of Largo offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at no cost to you as well as those who are living in your household. This benefit is through HealthAdvocate which provides confidential personal and professional counseling and assistance to help balance family and work responsibilities. Support services include:

Not only do City team members enjoy a FREE Largo Recreation fitness membership card and access to three state-of-the-art fitness centers, but staff can also be reimbursed for select fitness classes and events! A $400 reimbursement cap per full-time employee and a $200 cap per part-time employee is available each calendar year. Check out what classes are available in the drop-downs below. No worries, both the Environmental Services and Public Works Departments offer fitness centers for team members to use only. Please note, that only City of Largo team members has access to the fitness centers for free. Family members in the same household will need to pay for fitness room access.

How to Submit

A variety of screenings are offered throughout the year, such as blood pressure checks, cholesterol tests, glucose tests, skin cancer screenings, etc. Check the Monday Morning Briefing (Largo.com/MMB) or the Team Largo events calendar on Outlook for the next screening event.
Reimbursement for smoking cessation is available to team members based on their wellness allowance per fiscal year. The process requires the team member to purchase the smoking cessation items (i.e: the Patch, Zyban, gum, inhalers, etc.) and submit the receipt(s) via their Workday expense portal and select under Wellness Reimbursement. The reimbursement is then processed and goes back into the team members' checks.
