Bulky Waste Collection
Bulky waste is considered any items that are too large to fit into your regular garbage cart, please place smaller items in your garbage cart as they cannot be collected as bulky waste. Items that should go into your garbage cart include vacuums, dining room chairs, end tables, lamps, electronics, etc and will not be collected for bulky pick up. Cardboard boxes should be broken down and placed in the recycle cart. Items that may be collected for bulky pick up include large dressers, mattresses, sofas and other items that cannot fit into your garbage cart. Chemicals and electronics should be collected by Pinellas County.Each household can receive up to four free bulky waste pick ups per year. Request your free bulky pick up and remember to place items at least ten 10 feet away from overhead wires and 3 feet from any other objects including:
- Garbage and Recycling Carts
- Mailboxes
- Vehicles
- Storm drains
- Fences or other structures

Yard Waste Collection
Yard waste collection is offered free each week on your curbside recycling day and must be bagged or bundled. Loose items are not accepted. Items must be bagged or bundled, or placed inside of your garbage cart for collection. Place items at least ten 10 feet away from overhead wires and 3 feet from any other objects including:- Garbage and Recycling Carts
- Mailboxes
- Vehicles
- Storm drains
- Fences or other structures
