Each year, community priorities help to determine how tax dollars are spent within the City of Largo's annual budget, totaling nearly $250 million of local investment. The City is currently planning for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 budget, which begins in October. The proposed FY2024 budget continues to support the focus areas and initiatives in the City’s Strategic Plan established by the City Commission.
Current organizational priorities influencing budget decisions include focusing on downtown Largo, homelessness and housing, resilience, investing in team members, and maintaining healthy fund balance levels.
