Nonprofits in Largo: Apply for a Safety Net Grant

The City of Largo is launching a Safety Net Grant for nonprofits. Nonprofits including faith-based organizations that serve Largo residents (can be located outside city limits) and are licensed as a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(19) tax-exempt organizations are invited to apply for the grant during the application period of August 15 - November 15, 2022.

The grant is funded by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) dollars designated to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, assist in the recovery in directly impacted areas and with disproportionately impacted populations and ensure resilience for future pandemics. Recognizing that nonprofits provide crucial services that support community members’ most basic needs from food to childcare to education services for all ages and much more, the grant is intended to provide some financial relief to those organizations.
