The City of Largo and the Florida Department of Health Pinellas have teamed up to host a free vaccine booster pop-up clinic at the Largo Public Library on Friday, November 5 from 9am until 12:30pm. There is NO appointment necessary and you do not need insurance. Vaccines are provided at no cost. Boosters are administered six months after your second dose for eligible individuals. Please bring your vaccine card if available.
There are now booster recommendations for all three available COVID-19 vaccines in the United States. Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson will be available. Eligible individuals may choose which vaccine they receive as a booster dose. Some people may have a preference for the vaccine type that they originally received and others, may prefer to get a different booster. CDC’s recommendations now allow for this type of mix and match dosing for booster shots.
First and second doses are available for anyone 12 and up.
