City of Largo to Illuminate Neighborhoods with Drive-By Salute and Celebration

Although Largo's fireworks have been canceled, the City of Largo is excited to show the community love with a socially distanced drive-by salute to our neighbors on the Fourth of July.

This celebration, which will drive-through Largo neighborhoods from 10-11:30am on July 4, will feature a decorated float in patriotic decor, followed by City vehicles, including the Largo Leaf, Bookmobile, Largo Police motorcycles and one of the Largo Fire Rescue station trucks. Largo City Leadership and City Commission, along with Largo Police, Fire Rescue, Library, Recreation, and Communication & Engagement departments, will be in these vehicles to honk, wave, and celebrate from a distance with the Largo community.

The parade will start in Highpoint, making its way through neighborhoods along East Bay Drive, Largo Central Park, downtown Largo, and ending at Trotter Road.  See full route map.

The City of Largo encourages residents in these neighborhoods to stand in their driveways and wave their flags, dance to our patriotic-themed playlist, or just smile and say hello as we bring the celebration to you! In order to stay safe, we ask everyone to practice safe social distancing (6 feet apart) and to wear masks when not able to socially distance.
