baby rescued from flood watersAs the City of Largo’s Emergency Management Team continues to monitor the evolving health concerns in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and seeks proactive measures to help preserve the health and well-being of our community, Largo would like to remind the community to sign up for Alert Pinellas notifications.

Alert Pinellas is an invaluable tool used by Pinellas County Emergency Management and the City of Largo to send the community urgent messages through texts, emails and voice calls about a variety of situations such as COVID-19, severe weather, boil water notices, missing persons, or evacuations.

Pinellas County and Largo Fire Rescue are encouraging the community to sign up for this FREE service in order to stay informed before, during and after emergencies and other situations. Signing up is easy and can be done by visiting PinellasCounty.org/AlertPinellas or Largo.com/AlertPinellas. For more information, please contact Largo Fire Rescue Public Educator Summer Mahr at smahr@largo.com.
