City of Largo Accepting Applications for Charter Review Committee

The City of Largo is now accepting applications from residents who are registered voters to serve on the 2020 Charter Review Committee. The City Charter serves as the "Constitution" for Largo's government, providing the framework for City operations such as approving a tax rate, electing City Commissioners and selling or leasing City property.

Any Largo resident who is registered to vote is eligible to serve on the Charter Review Committee and can apply online. Applications must be submitted by February 14, 2020, and the City Commission will vote on the membership at the February 18 City Commission meeting.

Committee members must be willing to attend at least five monthly meetings and possibly more if the committee determines they are needed. This is a great opportunity for interested residents to help shape Largo's future as Largo seeks to be the Community of choice in Tampa Bay.
