With an Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating of Class 1, our personnel are dedicated to a wide range of public services for the health, safety and welfare of our citizens. 

It is our goal to promote an environment that not only strives to meet the community's needs but also looks for opportunities to advance that service to the next level, anticipating future needs. Largo Fire Rescue offers a variety of services to the City of Largo, such as fire inspections, CPR and First Aid, smoke alarm installations and safety presentations.
Emergency Prep

The City of Largo will be hosting its free ShredFest on Saturday, October 17 at the Starkey Road Collection Center (1551 Starkey Rd) from 9am-12pm, or until full capacity has been reached. This easy, drive-through event allows residents to bring up to five boxes of documents for free and secure on-site shredding and recycling. All patrons are to remain in their cars during the event.

Composting is easy to do and has numerous benefits including reduced greenhouse gas emissions, improving soil health, and reduced fertilizer use.
