Located in the heart of Largo, Largo Central Park is a 28-acre destination featuring open green spaces, shaded walking paths, and year-round events. The park surrounds the Central Park Performing Arts Center and sits directly across from the Largo Public Library. It has over one million annual visitors and is one of Central Florida’s most popular urban parks.
A highlight for families is the Largo Central Park Playground, home to one of the largest and most accessible play areas in Central Florida. Visitors can also enjoy monthly rides on the Largo Central Railroad, a miniature train that runs the first full weekend of each month.
The park includes eight picnic pavilions, a 2.5-acre great lawn, a one-acre playfield, and the James S. Miles & Richard A. Leandri Military Court of Honor. Large shade trees, restroom facilities, and a fire pit make this park ideal for everyday visits and special gatherings.
