2020 Election

The 2020 Municipal General Election will be held on November 3, 2020.  City Commission seats subject to an election to four-year terms are: Mayor, Seat 3, and Seat 4. Mayor Woody Brown and Commissioner Jamie Robinson were automatically re-elected when no other candidates qualified to run against them. City Charter Amendment Proposals (View More Info) (Download Proposed Amendment)
  • Section 2.12- Proposed change would allows the City to lease City-owned property for up to 10 years, instead of 5 years, without requiring referendum approval.
  • Section 9.02 - Proposed changes would provide for member appointment to the Charter Review Committee every 10 years instead of every 7 years.
