Notice of Code Enforcement Board Meeting - April 25, 2024

CITY OF LARGO

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE MUNICIPAL CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD, REGULAR MEETING WILL MEET AT 1:30 P.M. ON THURSDAY, APRIL 25, 2024, IN THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL, 201 HIGHLAND AVENUE, LARGO, FLORIDA 33770, TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:

 

Cases may be heard in the order listed on the sign in sheet.

Sign in starts at 1:15 p.m. on the day of the hearing in the Commission Chambers.

DISCLOSURE:  GENERAL HEARING PROCEDURES / WHO MAY TESTIFY TO SPEAK BEFORE THE BOARD.

►The City of Largo Code Enforcement Board Hearings are open to the Public. However, only the alleged violator, city staff, and witnesses called by either part are authorized to testify before this Board. The Board will receive testimony and evidence at said public hearing and shall make such findings of fact as are supported by the testimony and evidence pertaining to the code violation(s) alleged against the respondent(s) named above. If a violation is corrected and then recurs, or if a violation is not corrected by the date specified for correction by the City's Code Compliance Officer, then the case will be heard by the Code Enforcement Board, even if the violation(s) has/have been corrected prior to the Board meeting.

 

►Approval:  You will need formal authorization that the Board's Attorney must approve.  If you are present to speak on behalf of any alleged violator, and the alleged violator is not present at this hearing, you must first present a letter of authorization or some form of contractual authorization, executed by the alleged violator indicating that they have appointed you to speak on their behalf before this Board. If you do not have one of these documents, you will not be able to present any testimony to this Board.

 

►Questions:  If you have any questions regarding this matter, you will need to speak with the Board's Attorney prior to the opening proceedings of the Call to Order of the Code Enforcement Board.
