The City of Largo is thrilled to launch its Counselor in Training Summer Program for teens who've completed 6th grade or higher. Priority is given to those who finished 8th grade, ensuring a rich mentoring experience. Participants will assist in the City of Largo 2024 Summer Camps, developing leadership skills, working with children, and gaining essential life skills.
Topics covered include job selection, interview skills, budgeting, social skills, and resume building. The program also offers the opportunity to earn volunteer hours qualifying for Bright Futures and other school groups. All hours will be documented, and completion certificates will be provided.
