Largo City Commissioner John Carroll recently graduated from the Institute for Elected Municipal Officials (IEMO) IV: Municipal Leadership, a course sponsored by the Florida League of Cities. The Level IV course focuses on municipal problem-solving strategies while providing both a deeper dive into each attendee’s personal leadership style and preferences as well as a rich environment for sharing experiences and envisioning the future of Florida’s municipalities.
IEMO was created 29 years ago to educate newly elected officials on the complexities of municipal government. Today, the IEMO offers four levels of training, each designed specifically for municipal elected officials.
