Largo Joins Alert Pinellas Network

New this hurricane season, any Alert Pinellas subscriber who is in Largo can now also receive notifications directly from the City of Largo about Largo-specific situations thanks to a partnership between Pinellas County Emergency Management and Largo Fire Rescue.

 Alert Pinellas is an invaluable tool used by Pinellas County Emergency Management to send the community urgent messages through text messages, emails and voice calls about a variety of situations such as severe weather, boil water notices, missing persons, or evacuations.And now, the City of Largo has access to this great communication tool.

Pinellas County and Largo Fire Rescue are encouraging the community to sign up for this FREE service in order to stay informed before, during and after emergencies and other situations. Signing up is easy and can be done by visiting PinellasCounty.org/AlertPinellas or Largo.com/AlertPinellas.
