The City of Largo proposes to accept a grant in the amount of $27,891 from the FY2018 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program administered by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). DOJ annually allocates funding to law enforcement agencies through a population and crime rate-related formula.
With the grant funds, the Largo Police Department proposes to purchase a police vehicle for the City’s Enriching Lives through Mental Health Services program. The Largo City Commission will consider this proposal at the City Commission Meeting on September 4.
