March 7 is Deadline for Voters to Request a Ballot to be Mailed

The following message was shared by the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections.

The Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Office reminds voters that 5pm on March 7 is the deadline to request a ballot to be mailed for the March 19, 2024, Presidential Preference Primary and Municipal Elections.

To request a mail ballot, visit VotePinellas.gov, call (727)464-VOTE (8683) or email [email protected].

The Supervisor of Elections is prohibited from handing out mail ballots to voters, their designees, or family members in person from the start of mandatory early voting through 7pm on Election Day, pursuant to Florida Statute 101.62. If a ballot is requested due to an emergency, the voter or designee must provide a supporting affidavit.

Voters are advised to allow at least one week for their ballot to be returned by mail to the Supervisor of Elections Office. Mail ballot return locations are available through March 17. Check VotePinellas.gov for locations and hours; these return locations will be closed on Election Day. Voted mail ballots can also be dropped off at any of the three Elections Offices through 7pm on Election Day.

All ballots must be received at an Elections Office by 7pm on Election Day. All accepted mail ballots are included in election results.

Voters may track their ballot status online at VotePinellas.gov/TrackMyBallot to find out the date their ballot was mailed and the date their voted ballot was received by the Supervisor of Elections.
