Green Neighborhood Toolkit

Become a City of Largo Green Team volunteer! Green Team volunteers serve as ambassadors for recycling in their neighborhood. Help the City promote Largo's great recycling resources!

Prevent costly plumbing bills and threats to our environment and health by collecting your used cooking oil to recycle into bio-fuel. A residential cooking oil collection site has been established at the Starkey Road Recycle Center

Participate in Largo's Communitrees Program.  Communitrees is a program that provides free trees and training to neighborhoods that sign a pledge to adopt the trees.

Invite a Florida Yards and Neighborhoods representative to conduct a workshop in your neighborhood on Florida-friendly landscaping.

Find out if reclaimed water is available in your neighborhood. If reclaimed water is already available in your neighborhood, contact Largo's Engineering Division for a reclaimed water permit (free for residential customers!)
