Largo Recreation, Parks and Arts and their mascot, Captain Play, want you to "Get Active and Play!" this summer. Whether traveling across the city, state, country or around the world this summer, take Captain Play with you!

Simply print out the image of Captain Play, and take a photo of him in front of a popular or recognizable landmark around your hometown or on vacation (Tropicana Field, Golden Gate Bridge, Statue of Liberty... be creative!). Email your photo to CaptainPlay@largo.com to be added to the collection of photos posted on the Largo Recreation, Parks & Arts Facebook page. Those who enter the contest will be entered into a drawing to win a brand new youth bike ($80 value). All photos must be submitted by Friday, August 19, 2011 to be eligible to win.

Know of family and friends that live out of state or overseas? Send the image to them and have them enter the contest too. We want to see how far Captain Play can go!
