The two-day-per-week watering schedule was established October 1, 2005 so that sufficient reclaimed water is available throughout the year to all reclaimed water customers. As a result, City of Largo Reclaimed Water Customers are unaffected by the Phase II Severe Water Shortage one-day-per-week restriction. Southwest Florida Water Management District imposed the watering restriction on residences whom irrigate with potable, pond or well water. Reclaimed Water Customers may continue to follow their designated two-day-per-week schedule.
