Southwest Pool Swimming Lessons

Swim America (A Learn-To-Swim Program)

(Ages 3 & up)
The Swim America program is a nationally recognized learn to swim program offered by the West Florida Lightning Aquatics (WFLA) Swim Team. The progression of skills taught in this program provide youngsters with the tools necessary to not only be water safe, but to be a skilled swimmer. The 6-stage program offered at the Southwest Pool allows swimmers to progress at their own pace, and move from group to group as they are ready. Swim America coaches are certified through the American Swimming Coaches Association. City of Largo Recreation Membership Card is required to register for lessons. Whether you are a beginner or are training for your first triathlon, our certified instructors will help you become a strong and efficient swimmer. Take a group class or try private instruction. Call 518-3126 to schedule. Must have a Largo Rec Card to participate.

Private Swimming Lessons

(All Ages)

For individuals who desire a more intimate learning environment or just need some additional help from one of our certified instructors. We offer private lessons for children or adults. Classes are 30 minutes. Facility cannot guarantee the same instructor each week. Please call 518-3126 for more details or to schedule your lesson. Must have a Largo Rec Card to participate.
