Set Up a School Recycling Program

Recycling Presentation

Raise money for your school by recycling your mixed paper and metals! SP Recycling Corporation and Best Metal Recycling have teamed with the Pinellas County School Board and the City of Largo to provide a full service recycling program for Largo Schools.

SP Recycling Corporation has expanded their newspaper collection and will now accept all paper from Largo Schools. This includes white office paper, colored paper, junk mail, magazines, catalogs and phone books. Please put all paper in the SP Recycling Corporation Dumpster. No corrugated cardboard, please.


Best Metal Recycling will be collecting aluminum cans and other metals (steel cans, scrap metal, etc.) from Largo Schools. Please place all aluminum cans and metals in the Best Metals Recycling Dumpster.


Options for Plastic bottle and cardboard recycling are available through the City of Largo recycling program, please email
recycle@largo.com and a Solid Waste representative will contact you shortly.
