Commercial/Industrial Pretreatment Program

Commercial users, including but not limited to restaurants, laundry facilities, and gas stations, are inspected regularly to ensure that typical discharges do not obstruct or damage the sanitary sewer system. Industrial users must meet strict Federal and State Guidlines designed to protect the infrastructure of the system. This requires that industrial users test wastewater and report findings every six months in order to maintain the safety and integrity of the system.
