Cheerleading

with i9 Sports

(Ages 4-10)
Co-ed classes are designed to provide kids with an introductory approach to cheerleading in a fun, upbeat atmosphere. Participants will learn focus, synchronization and simple routines aligned with music and cheers. April-May classes will be held at the Largo Community Center. June-August classes will be held at Highland Recreation Complex.

Color Guard (NEW)

(Ages 9 & up)

Want to join or shine in your schools' color guard, but don't know how? Classes are designed to provide students with the basics of color guard. The color guard activity uses flags, sabers, rifles, swing flags and props, along with movement, to visually represent music. Participants will learn equipment technique, focus, memory, balance, synchronization and simple routines to music. Challenge yourself and have fun!

Comic Book & Cartooning Art Class for Beginners & Intermediate

(Ages 7-12)
Learn the basics of comic book art and cartooning from award-winning illustrator and comic book artist, Peter Pachoumis. This class will focus on structure and pinup/cover art. Peter has been teaching comic art and cartooning for many years, and has worked on properties such as Batman, Star Trek, Star Wars, and many others. Apr-May classes will be held at the Largo Community Center. June-Aug class will be at the Highland Rec Complex.

Zumbatomic
Ages 4-12

Designed exclusively for kids, Zumbatomic classes are rockin', high-energy fitness parties packed with specially choreographed, kid-friendly routines and all the music kids love. Parents love Zumbatomic because of the effects it has on kids, increasing their focus and self-confidence, boosting metabolism and enhancing coordination. Class will move to the Largo Community Center on April 4th for the summer.
