Scratchboard Workshops

(Adult)

Scratchboard is a black-and-white drawing medium that utilizes a cardboard or panel board with a thin coating of fine, white clay covered by a layer of india ink. Students use sharp tools to scratch lines through the ink revealing the picture beneath. More lines equals a brighter picture resembling a wood engraving. Bring a lunch to enjoy while you work. $25 material fee payable to the instructor at start of class. Preregistration deadlines: March 3
