Born bigger and different than the other hatchlings, the ugly duckling is ridiculed by his brothers and sisters, rejected by the other ducks, and eventually shunned by the entire barnyard. The little bird leaves home, embarking on a rollicking journey through hecklers, hunters, and hilarious hi-jinks only to discover that the beauty he was seeking was inside him all along.

If you are planning to bring you school, class or group to a show, please complete the School Show Reservation Form

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How much does it cost to take my students on a field trip?
Tickets are $7 per person. Schools receive one complimentary ticket per every 18 paid students. Payment is due no later than 30 days in advance. All shows are general admission and seating arrangement is on a first-come, first-served basis.

How do I reserve a field trip performance?
Fill out the School Show Reservation Form mentioned above or Call the Box Office at (727)587-6793.
We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, checks and cash. Please make checks payable to:

Confirmation invoices can be mailed to school contacts provided to us at the time of reservation upon request.

What about transportation on the day of the show?
Affordable busing options available upon request. Contact the box office at (727)587-6793 for more information.

What is the cancellation policy?
Due to limited seating, we must limit the number of groups scheduled on any given day. Therefore, if your plans change, we ask that you cancel or reschedule well in advance of your visit. Cancellation request received less than 30 days from the event date will be billed 50% of the total due based on your reservation. Cancellations must be made directly with the Box Office (727)587-6793.

Lesson Plans

Disney’s High School Musical
May 29 - June 16 / Ages 12-18

All campers will be involved in the creative art of live musical theatre performance. This includes an introduction to the audition process as well as acting, singing and dancing on a professional stage. Participants will leave the final performance of the show with a feeling of confidence and the satisfaction of working in a team environment with other campers and the instructors.
Mon-Fri 9am-4pm
Before care 7:30a-9am
After care 4pm-5:30pm
Resident Rate - $385
Non Resident Rate - $430
Before / After Care Resident- $10 per Week
Before / After Care Non Resident- $13.00 per Week

Public Performances: June 15 at 7pm and June 16 at 11am

Theatre Camp Scholarships:

Theatre Camp Scholarships are available from the Suncoast Performing Arts Foundation.  Funding is limited. Scholarship applications will be available beginning February 1. Both need based and talent based scholarships are available.

Scholarship forms accepted starting January 2,2018

Technical Theatre Production Camp

Supporting the Willy Wonka Jr. Camp
July 23-August 4 / Ages 12-18

Campers will learn skills in working with scenery, rigging, audio, sound and lighting equipment and apply their new skills in supporting the center’s summer camp show. The camp is taught by professionals with years of experience in the entertainment business.
