Through its facilities, cultural center, park system and sports complexes, the Recreation, Parks & Arts Department offers opportunities for individualized leisure pursuits, and passive enjoyment of the natural environment. The department has been nationally accredited and named as "Agency of Excellence" by the State of Florida.
